Latham
Christian Academy opened its
doors in the fall of 1979 as a ministry of Latham Bible Baptist Church.
Through the years the school has served hundreds of families in the
Capital District by offering a balanced program designed to meet the spiritual,
academic, and social needs of each child.

Latham Christian
Academy is not a private school, but is a distinctively Christian school.
Our goal is provide a God-centered education from a God-centered
worldview. We believe that Christian
education is mandated by God for Christian families (Deuteronomy 6:1-25).
Parents are commanded to bring up their children in the nurture and
admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4).
God has established a testimony in us and has commanded us to make
it known to our children so that the generations to come might know God
and set their hope in Him (Psalm 78:5-7).
Latham Christian Academy exists to work in partnership with the
home and local church in order to give the next generation a truly Christian world and life
view.
All of our teachers are born-again Christians who pray for their students and
seek spiritual, as well as academic, growth in their students.
The
goal of LCA is to train children to be Christ-like. Biblical principles and positive character traits are taught to all students.
Each student attends a Bible class every day and a weekly chapel program
on his or her level.
