2007 Girls Volleyball Schedule

FIELD TRIPS

During the course of the school year, students are exposed to the many historical sites, museums, and other educational opportunities in the extended Capital Region.  

 

 

ATHLETICS

Students are given the opportunity to participate in the Northeastern Christian Athletic Association.  The athletic program includes girls’ volleyball, boys’ basketball, and girls’ basketball.  Parents have the opportunity to support the athletic programs by joining the Booster Club.  The LCA Booster Club raises the money necessary to provide a top-notch athletic program.  

 

 

HONOR SOCIETY

Students in grades ten through twelve have the opportunity to participate in the American Christian Honor Society.  

 

 

MUSIC

In addition to regularly scheduled music classes, students have the opportunity to participate in several programs during the year.  High school students also have the opportunity of participating in the LCA Choir.

 

 

 

 

 

 FINE ARTS COMPETITION

Junior and Senior High student have the opportunity to participate in fine arts competition sponsor by the New York Association of Christian Schools.  Areas of competition include Bible, academics, speech, music, art.  Senior High students that place first in their categories become eligible to participate in the National Fine Arts Competition held in April each year on the campus of Bob Jones University.

 

STUDENT LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES

Junior and Senior high school students have the opportunity to attend the annual Student Leadership Conference.  This event is sponsored by the American Association of Christian Schools.   This four day event challenges students to be biblical leaders in the school, following the example of Jesus Christ that a leader is to be a servant.
